The story of Winnie the Pooh

Unlike which it happens with the television personage, to the true bear Winnie did not like the honey but condensed milk. The name of Winnie comes from Winnipeg, the town of a veterinarian who the 24 of August of 1914 traveled in train from Canada towards Europe to fight in World War I. Colebourn, the veterinarian, found a hunter with the small bear and bought it. Already in Europe, Colebourn let it in zoo of London with the idea of taken it when finalizing the war. It never did it, because people had taken him much affection to the animal and decided to leave it there until she died, the 12 of May of 1934.
